Located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh and connected via a walkway to the headquarters hotel, the Westin Convention Center Pittsburgh; the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, East Lobby (DLCC) is one of the most beautiful convention centers in the world. Walls of windows, expansive terraces and balconies open to incredible river- and cityscapes.
The DLCC is the first "green" convention center certified with a Gold Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating by the U.S. Green Building Council, the national standard for high-performance green buildings.
All of SVP's educational events will be held at the DLCC. The majority of the networking events will be held at Carnegie Museum of Natural History or the connecting headquarters hotel, the Westin Convention Center Pittsburgh. Details will be available in your final program.

A ton of CO2 is emitted when you travel 2,000 miles in an airplane, 1,350 miles in an SUV, or 1,900 miles in a mid-size car. If you are concerned about the CO2 emissions that you add to the atmosphere by traveling to the annual meeting, OFFSET YOUR IMPACT by contributing to an organization that works to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. These "carbon offset" providers promote greenhouse gas reduction in various ways, such as funding carbon sequestration projects, alternative energy development and reforestation. There are now more than 30 offset providers and it is difficult for consumers to choose among them.
