A LATE CRETACEOUS CALLORHYNCHID (CHONDRICHTHYES, HOLOCEPHALI) FROM SEYMOUR ISLAND, ANTARCTICA

An Upper Cretaceous callorhynchid (Chondrichthyes, Holocephali) from Seymour Island, Antarctica is described. The tooth plate studied here is from the Lopez de Bertodano Formation, a silty sandstone and siltstone exposed on the southwestern two-thirds of the island. The systematic paleontology and morphology of this fossil is presented.
